As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another,
as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks,
as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves,
as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—
in order that in everything God may be glorified
through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion
forever and ever. Amen.
1 Peter 4:10-11
The Engaging Ministry (ENG) devises intentional strategies and plans programs for the deployment of church members in different ministries to exercise their spiritual gift/s, including involvement in outreach (social acts of compassion), missions work, and in the various church ministries.

The Engaging Ministry of GCFSM desires to involve or engage our members in efforts to be used by God to reach the nations through Missions, and secondly, to be engaged in the Lord’s work in the various ministries of the church through the Volunteer Development Team (VDT).
In GCF South Metro, we engage God’s people in ministry according to their spiritual gifts, passions and experiences. We affirm the truth of Scriptures that God has graciously given us various gifts (Romans 12:6-8) that should be used for the glory of God through the church.
DEVELOPING GOD’S WORKERS
FOR THE CHURCH
GCFSM needs volunteers to come alongside the pastors and leaders of the church in order to effectively minister to the flock under our care. The church cannot do it alone! It needs volunteers who have the heart and dedication to pursue the Lord’s work in the church through the various ministries.
DEVELOPING GOD’S WORKERS
FOR missions work
In the 3-stage process that our church has adopted of Draw, Develop and Deploy, the Engaging Ministry falls under the third D, “Deploy”, together with the Evangelism Team. GCFSM members are to be deployed among the nations as outlined in v. 19, “nations”, referring to people groups that have their own language and culture. Simply stated, it means that nations can be right in our own country, not just necessarily a country beyond our own borders. Therefore, deployment in Missions can be done domestically, as well as internationally, with the desire to make Christ known among the nations in fulfilment of the Great Commission.
