And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching
and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders
and signs were being done through the apostles.
Acts 2:42-43
Enlisting Ministry (ENL) devises intentional strategies and plans programs to assimilate people into church membership through baptism of new believers and/or transferees from other churches, and accept them into Growth Groups so that they can be identified with a specific local church and provide them venues to grow in Christ, to be accountable to someone, to exercise spiritual gifts, and to help build up the church.

2. A correct understanding of what true worship is. Worship is all that we are, responding to all that God is. It is giving—giving honor and respect to God. Worship is a consuming desire to give to God, and it involves the giving of ourselves, our heart attitudes, and our possessions.
3. A conviction about our duty (1) to God, to proclaim His glory in worship, to present ourselves in worship through turning our back on the lifestyle of the world, and through bringing one’s thinking in line with God’s Word; (2) to fellow believers, building them up and teaching the Word towards spiritual growth and reproduction; and (3) to witness to the lost about the risen Christ and His gift of salvation by our walk and our talk.
Membership
Our desire for our visitors is to be one with us in faith and be part of the growing Multiplying Disciples community here in GCF South Metro. As one decides to make GCF South Metro his home church, he must attend our two-session Membership Class conducted by our Leadership Team. At the end of the session, a time with the church leaders is set for our church membership interview.
New believers are to obey the Lord in the waters of baptism and at a later date, together with other candidates for membership, are accorded the Right Hand of Fellowship as part of the GCF South Metro membership practice.
Growth Group
Our prayer is that all believers in GCF South Metro will become part of a Growth Group. The Growth Group is the microcosm of the church. It is the coming together of God’s children with the desire to grow towards Christlikeness. In GCF South Metro, the Growth Group is where discipleship happens. It is the primary venue of growth and discipleship. In our GGs, we stand on the principles and dynamics of Acts 2:42-47 as the ways we are to be discipled towards Christlikeness. The passage identifies for us elements or GG dynamics that should be present in any small group relationship—Prayer, Word, Ministry/Service, Worship, Fellowship and Evangelism. As such, it is where the DRAW, DEVELOP AND DEPLOY truly happens in a smaller scale.
